༄༅། །སྟོན་པ་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཤཱཀྱ་ཐུབ་པས་བདེན་པ་བཞིའི་ཆོས་གསུང་བའི་དུས་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན་དང་སྟབས་བསྟུན། དེ་རིང་བོད་ཟླ་༦ པའི་ཚེས་༤ ཉིན་མཁན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་བསོད་ནམས་བཀྲ་ཤིས་མཆོག་ནས་དགེ་འདུན་འདུས་པ་ཡོངས་ལ་༼ འཕགས་པའི་བདེན་པ་བཞིའི་༽ སྐོར་ཚིག་གོ་སླ་བའི་སྒོ་ནས་འགྲེལ་བཤད་གནང་བ་དང་། ༸སྐྱབས་རྗེ་སྟག་ལུང་རྩེ་སྤྲུལ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་མཆོག་གིས་སྒྲིགས་གནང་བའི་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བ་རྣམས་གཞི་གསུམ་ཉམས་སུ་ལེན་པའི་ཆོ་ག་༼ དབྱར་གནས་དང་ཡར་ངོ་མར་ངོའི་གསོ་སྦྱོང་སྐབས་ཀྱི་ཞལ་འདོན་ཕྱོགས་སྒྲིགས་ཕན་བདེ་འོད་སྣང་ཞེས་བྱ་༽ བའི་ལྗགས་ལུང་གསུང་ནས་ཆོས་འཁོར་དུས་ཆེན་སྲུང་བརྩི་ཞུས་པའོ།།
Today, on Chokhor Duchen, we commemorate a pivotal moment in Buddhist history: the First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma at Varanasi, where Gautama Buddha delivered his first sermon.
It was on this auspicious day that the Buddha, after attaining enlightenment, chose to share his profound insights with his five former companions. Gathered at Deer Park in Sarnath, near Varanasi, he expounded the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path, laying the foundation of Buddhist teachings.
The significance of this event extends beyond its historical context. The teachings imparted by the Buddha on this day are timeless and universal, offering guidance on the alleviation of suffering and the pursuit of spiritual awakening.
