The examinations began with foundational subjects such as Tibetan alphabet and vowels (KG), Hindi, English, Mathematics, Computer studies, Environmental Studies (EVS), and Handwriting & Drawing. Senior primary students were also assessed in traditional disciplines including Tibetan Language, Tibetan Melody (Dhang Yang), and Riglam (Buddhist logic and reasoning).

A special highlight was the Grade 4 monastic primary examinations at Dorje Drak Monastery Dratsang, where students were tested in:

  • Calligraphy and Mandala geometry related to the Jangter Vajrakilaya tradition
  • Chanting melodies from the Vajrakilaya ritual manual
  • The Thirty-Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva
  • Logic and Dialectics (Rigs lam rtags bsal)

Across six examination rounds held throughout November and December, students demonstrated dedication, discipline, and sincere effort. Subjects ranged from languages and mathematics to arts, logic, chanting, and traditional calligraphy, reflecting the institute’s commitment to nurturing both intellectual growth and spiritual heritage.

With the completion of the final examination on December 21, 2025, the quiet focus of the examination halls gave way to a sense of accomplishment and joy.

May the hard work of all students be rewarded with excellent results that truly reflect their efforts.
